Cardinia Shire Council is extending an invitation to a suitably experienced artist or arts organisation to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to deliver a public artwork for Boollam Boollam Child and Family Centre in Pakenham (formerly known as Thewlis Integrated Child and Family Centre). This brief provides the information relevant for an EOI submission to be considered for shortlisting as well as a broad outline of the conditions that need to be met by the successful applicant.
The budget allocated for this public art project is $160,000 excluding GST.

Selection Criteria
Artists’ proposals will be measured against the following selection criteria:
1. Community engagement – proposed community engagement across a wide and varied demographic.
2. Thematic approach – appropriateness of established themes and artistic approach.
3. Feasibility – ability to deliver the project on time and within budget, as well as having a strong project plan.
4. Artistic merit – demonstration of artistic ability and examples of previous work.
EOI Requirements
You must provide the following in your application:
· Initial ideas behind a concept design and thematic approach.
· Indication of the preferred materials to be used in the artwork.
· Proposed community engagement plan.
· An estimated budget breakdown.
· Examples of previous work.
